Rish is back with his brand new edition. Will he ever stop? Yo, I don't know.
In this, Rish presents "Beyond the Fence," probably the shortest story he'll ever do on the show, then talks about its (and his own) shortcomings. It first appeared here on his blog (in the week where he tried to write a story a day). He also describes a new story idea he had completely forgotten about by the time he typed up this summary.

Hey Rish - I thought 'Beyond' was a cool enough story as is. I liked the 'fill in the blank' horrible ending. Man - I REALLY want to hear your website story now - that was a really cool idea. What if if it was a little bit like 'Ring' ? Kids who have been to this website have terrible things happen to them as a result ? Maybe one of the teachers or students is a serial killer, and anyone new who turns up becomes their next target. Perhaps the true identity of the killer is shrouded somehow on the site - for some weird reason ( pact with the devil maybe ). I don't know - it sounds like a really cool idea. I find it difficult to come up with story ideas. I'll often have a cool idea of a setting, or a character, or a world - but be unable to actually get a narrative going for it, which is really frustrating. I guess it's why I like the collaborative story telling you get in role-playing games. The players help generate the story with you.
Anyway - thanks for the story. I enjoyed it !
